Subject: College Towns
Content: In response to questions about ( people who don't want to pay to post..:)...college towns...i'll say just this... Yes I do live in one...and pretty much always have...since before I was that age. The schedule of working as a teacher...allows holidays and summers free to pursue outside musical gigs..It's a very cool life...or can be...if you like interacting with people...and don't mind bumping into the same ones every day...and yes..I think large or small college towns are very similar...When I worked in Boston...it was still "areas" that felt like small towns...within a large city...ya know ? At the Univ of Redlands..( CA ) classes are video taped...:-)...and I used my own video cassette recorder ( remember now this was in the old days...85-95)...to tape lessons and rehearsals...so i have hours and hours of mutterings i've given to people since they've been so interested in teaching itself...but have never done much of it.... Being an old schooler..I'm not yet convinced that staring at and writing on .... the internet all day (blogging)....and then pushing the stop button is necessarily healthy for the back or stomach muscles...tho.....:).........and I still have questions about Ted Turner...if that's ok with y'al.... Georgeann Peterson
