one more comment me own self on whether i think hall and oates will be more than what they were (good enough in my book btw)..in 80-83ish..pulling into it some pre-80's gentle stuff..no i don't..i heard them do christmas music at the orpheum in boston and i heard them do bits and pieces of the covers tribute and songs for amanda.. it was a time..and people want that time..my kids were pre-teens more than teens at the time..i was teaching 5-12...in various places..(3)..two different religions..worked seven days a week..the music was picked up by the children on a fun level..and no doubt...( this i didn't experience) by the adults in more raucous ways.. my fascination was the internet..how it creates a world..and how well hall used it ..from day one..also how well the groupies led him by the nose..interesting marketing by an interesting personality..he's a good looking guy..he's tough as nails...and had to be ...to be famous..
